We're Brad and Chyla, a pair of husband and wife photographers in Des Moines specializing in weddings. We love what we do and even more so, that we get to do it together. We believe that marriage is the coolest thing ever. We enjoy getting to know our couples on a personal level, because it helps us to tell your story better.

We’re Brad and Chyla. We are fine art wedding photographers who love what we do. We are inspired by weddings: the love, the excitement, and the romance. We love what weddings celebrate, the beginning of a marriage and a new family. We tell our couple's unique love story though our images. Our favorite part of being photographers is getting to know our couples. A close second is when our brides get to show off their style and be inspiration to others!
What sets us apart from so many other wedding photographers in the Des Moines area is that we are two photographers for every wedding. We make a great team, where each of us has our own favorite shots. We challenge each other to always be better photographers and almost always know what the other is thinking. We don’t just have your wedding covered; we have it covered twice over.
We love that Des Moines is full of places for weddings of every style! If you are into classic and traditional, or fresh and metropolitan, DSM wedding venues are all that. For couples into quirky urban chic, West End Architectural Salvage is a surprising yet perfect choice. It’s great for both the ceremony and reception, or just the reception, if desired. It’s a warehouse and coffee shop located in downtown Des Moines, teeming with repurposed and vintage items from global reaches. With four floors for guests to explore, it is an eclectic and fun place for a spirited wedding! Not to mention, it’s totally photogenic!
If a couple is more outdoorsy, the Des Moines Botanical Center is to-die-for-gorgeous. If a small ceremony or reception takes place in the domed garden, the celebration can take place year-round and still feel in the midst of nature. For larger receptions, there are two banquet rooms to choose from to accommodate guests. To match the seasons, areas are changed and often have unusual flowers to take in.
